But off-roaders are questioning the science of the study, saying the report is incomplete and ignores certain facts.
The report is the second phase of a study of particulate air pollution on the Nipomo Mesa conducted for the San Luis Obispo County Air Pollution Control District (see related story).

America, the land of choices
To the writer of “Stop handouts to undeserving”:
First, Mexico is not calling for the “Great American Boycott” or “Nothing Gringo” on May 1. It's for the legal - or not - immigrants who would like to participate. It would be a very ignorant and foolish idea to close government, medical, transportation offices, etc. Why should we citizens need to be punished on that day, as many will be needing access to those facilities? Everybody has the freedom to make the choice to participate or not. That's what's so great about this country!

Woo in the woods comes with complications
A new rollicking, robust musical has turned the stage at the Great American Melodrama in Oceano into a lumber camp of love nestled deep in the forest.
“Lumberjacks in Love,” with book and lyrics by Fred Alley and music by James Kaplan, tells the story of four burly lumberjacks: Minnesota Slim (George Walker), Muskrat (Chuck McLane), Moonlight (John Keating) and Dirty Bob (Billy Breed).
