Women’s Network sets Internet seminar
A seminar designed to help local entrepreneurs generate more business through their Web sites will be presented by the Central Coast Women’s Network from 5:15 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 20, at the Historic Santa Maria Inn on South Broadway in Santa Maria.
Participants will learn how to build their brands through clever tools available on the Internet, said a Central Coast Women’s Network spokeswoman.
Tips and strategies to convert Web site visitors into customers, five techniques to drive targeted traffic to a Web site and effective use of Web analytics will be discussed by keynote speaker Gregg Towsley of Manhattan Beach.
Towsley has more than 10 years of combined experience in Internet-based software, product development, marketing and Internet marketing.
A question-and-answer session will follow the program.
The meeting, which includes dinner, is $30 for members and $40 for nonmembers. All net proceeds will benefit the organization’s scholarship program.
