Another shutout for Bantam Blue

The Nipomo Cowboys Bantam Blue celebrate another shutout in the first playoff game of the season. The El Rio Spartans played hard but went home defeated 22-0.

The game was a defensive battle for the first half. Patrick Rippy started off the third quarter with a 62-yard kick return to score the Cowboys first touchdown. He then scored a second touchdown later that quarter. Matthew Fuentez also scored with a 32-yard run for a third and final touchdown.

This win puts the Bantam Blue in a head-on playoff game with Nipomo Cowboys Batam Silver. The winner of this game goes to the coveted Superbowl. Game day is Saturday at Nipomo Community Park.
