Annual performance: Everybody dance now
The Nipomo High School Dance Company will present its third annual performance, “Shake Your Groove Thing,” at 7 p.m. May 16 at the Clark Center in Arroyo Grande. Several different dance styles will be showcased, including hip-hop, jazz, modern, ballet, musical theater, lyrical and Tahitian. NHS Dance Company consists of 20 student-dancers who have worked all year to prepare for this performance. Also appearing will be the Nipomo Elementary Dancers, members of NHS Drama Department and NHS Alumni Dancers. Tickets are $8 and are available at the Nipomo High School Activities Office and also will be sold at the door the night of the performance.
